The Encounter · August 10, 2026 · the first one

It happened.

Saturday I asked what God would do with a room that intentionally made room for Him — and refused to answer it. This is the answer.

The prophetic words before & after this night →
Before, during, and after

How these words connect.

God gave words on either side of that night. They came at different times and they say different things — but they all point at the same room. Here’s the order they landed in, and why each one matters.

July 28 · before
A word to the house two weeks out: stop living off somebody else’s witness. It set the assignment for the night before anyone walked in — come and meet Him for yourself.
August 8 · before
Received Saturday while worshiping — Pentecost’s fifty days, lived one hour at a time. Posted before the count finished, with the question left unanswered on purpose: what does He do with a room that intentionally made room for Him?
August 10 · the night
The Encounter
Forty-plus people in a room with no stage, no hype, no spectators. People saved, prayed over, delivered. The record of what happened is below.
August 11 · after
Written the morning after on three hours of sleep. The deeper read on what actually happened — the altar, the alarm, the door — and the warning that making room is not the finish line. Clean was never the problem. Empty was.

The words change every cycle. What doesn’t change is that they land on either side of a room, and they always end up saying something about it.

People got saved. People got prayed over. Things got broken off of people, and I believe healing took place in that room.

Tears were shed. Smiles were had. Voices were lifted. The war cry went out. The victory cry went out.

But most of all — we encountered the Lord and Savior, and His manifested glory was in that room.

Coming soon.

We captured the whole night. Testimonies, worship, the altar. It’s coming here and to our socials this week.

Two things, told the way they happened

The fire alarm went off. More than once.

Now here’s what’s funny: it was the food in the oven. That’s it. That’s the explanation. But my God has character. Sometimes you just have to look up and say, God, You’re funny.

Am I saying that was a sign?
Maybe. Maybe not.

And at the end, when that door opened — the rain was coming down like never before.

Am I saying that was a sign?
Maybe. Maybe not.

All I know is the Lord was in that room.

And all I know is that God loves every single one of you.

Thank you for showing up. For yourself, and for God. I believe He honored that. There was so much love in that room — all of us believers, serving the one true and living God, together in one place.

What I believe He’s doing

I believe the Lord is calling His people to encounter Him for themselves. Not through somebody else’s testimony. Not off their mother’s faith or their grandmother’s faith. Face to face, personally, for real.

And I don’t believe it stops with one room on one Monday.

The call

I believe the Lord is calling Hampton Roads.

Revival, where every soul meets God face to face. That’s not a slogan. That’s what I saw start in that room.

Testimonies

Were you there? Tell us what God did — it takes two minutes, and yours might be the thing that gets somebody else in the room next time.

Sixty seconds to record it — plus a short survey so we build the next one better.

Or post it yourself and tag #MyEncounterWithJesus

The first testimonies are coming in. Check back — this wall fills up.

The Fifty Hours

Saturday 6:00 PM to Monday 8:00 PM — one hour for every day of Pentecost. Posted before the count finished, with the answer written after.

The Fifty Hours timeline

Same God. Same fire. Different ending.

There’s a next one

Let’s assemble for the next one.

Date and place aren’t set yet. Get on the list and you’ll know before anyone else.

Encountered. Changed. Sent.
