Fourteen days of devotions led in. For some, the Deeper Door fast — September 1 through 14, ending the morning of the room.
Not on everybody. But on enough of us that it was felt from the front, and enough that people said so afterward. It was a Monday. School had just started. People came in off a full workday and a weekend that did not rest them.
And a whole month had been spent living the word that was going forth. You do not carry that for four weeks and walk into a room weightless.
Do not mistake ordinary life for the enemy taking ground.
That became the word of the night, and then the word of the record written three days after — Elijah under the broom tree, where God did not rebuke him or send a deliverance team. He let him sleep, and fed him, and let him sleep again.
They told the truth about their lives in front of other people, which is one of the harder things a person can do. And some stood and spoke about this ministry — about what it has meant to have a room where the only thing on the schedule is God.
Thank you for standing. We heard all of it.
