While worshiping on Saturday evening, the Holy Spirit brought Pentecost to mind — not the day, the fifty days — and a leading to live them rather than teach them. Saturday 6:00 PM to Monday 8:00 PM is exactly fifty hours. One hour for every day of the count. The Ascension lands Monday at 9:00 AM. Pentecost lands in the second hour of worship. Posted before the count finished.
What He did that night · written August 11, 2026
The count ended at 8:00 PM Monday and the room turned to food — exactly as Acts 2 says it did the first time.
People got saved. People were prayed over. Things came off of people. I believe healing took place. Tears, smiles, voices lifted, the war cry and the victory cry — and His manifested glory in the room.
Twice the fire alarm went off. It was the food in the oven. That’s the whole explanation. But my God has character, and sometimes you just look up and say, You’re funny.
And when the doors opened at the end, the rain was coming down like I’ve never seen it.
Am I saying those were signs? Maybe. Maybe not. All I know is the Lord was in that room.
Saturday I asked what He does with a room that intentionally made room for Him, and I said I’d write the answer after. This is the answer: He came. Not because fifty hours bought Him — He never left. But a room that intentionally made room for Him heard Him, and I watched people meet Him face to face for themselves.
Same God. Same fire. Different ending.
